Review : Great motherboard. Lots of fun.
Lots of features. The closest Asus to this are the V and V Pro models(both cheaper). This has a few great features. Personally I think the extra switches are not important. The LED is handy but the other features are great. If you think you will make use of them (e-sata, better sound, extra usb3, connectors, bluetooth, dual band wifi, extra RAM OC etc.), then this is the board for you.

Unlike the other Asus boards there is no legacy connectivity (Ps/2 mouse keyboard, PCI). The V and V Pro cover these. I felt the need to leave PCI behind as it was only used by my x-fi xtreme music card in the past. Thankfully the motherboard here provides an ALC898 and it does actually provide better sound than the old x-fi card. Volume seems to be a little lower however and there is little to no fancy software packages to compliment the experience. So tweaking the sound is more difficult but I am impressed with the pure sound output as its a clear upgrade for me.

There are more...
