As others have commented,you just plug this in,press a button, and it performs a back up function-simple. However there is no information on what happens after this-do you keep it plugged in all the time? The first time I tried to retrieve some photos I got a message esaying I wasn`t authorized to view! After pressing the continue button, which said it would `sort this out`,nothing happened. Having copied previously onto disc,and viewed the information without any trouble,these sort of external hard drives appear to need just a bit more knowledge than `Joe Bloggs`has.
