Review : decent ram
this ram was just right for my acer extensa 5235. the laptop was a home access machine which was given to me by my sister as her kids have become teenagers now and want more powerful laptops. it only had 1GB of ram and the processor is a pretty slow celeron 900 so i decided to add another couple of Gigs to the machine and this was ideal. installed really easily by removing the base and just sliding the ram in the appropriate dimm slots, took about 2 minutes. has speeded the laptop up nicely and applications now load quicker. my next move may well be replacing the processor with a core2duo but as the laptop is a few year old i'm not sure whether it's worth it. anyway, decent ram works well and has improved speed, would highly recommend.
