Review : exellent card, amazing sound quality.
Spent an awfull amount of time researching sound cards prior to selecting this one. And having recently bought a new pc and speced that up i thought that would be easy! However, from the reviews i could find (all seemed old in comparison to reviews of the latest graphics cards and processors) this card represented fantastic value for the money.
The improvement over on-board sound is staggeringly good, and that's just through a normal nothing special 2.0 speaker system. The card and it's software package gives you that many options to enhance what you've got that you're almost gauranteed to find the quality and level of improvement imense.

After installating the card in the pc (a simple enough task in itself), i went through the hardware manager to disable the on-board sound, downloaded the latest patch from the ASUS website, and job done. Very simple task indeed. I have Windows 7 64 bit, and the card works with this OS without any problems at all.
